Uttarakhand weather update: Rain, snow forecast in some districts on November 12
The weather has changed in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. It has been raining and snowing here for the last two days in the mountains. Even today, yellow alert for rain and snowfall has been issued for 7 districts. There meteorological department has forecast a possibility of rain and snowfall in some districts on Diwali. There may be light rain and snowfall in higher reaches of Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh. It will be a matter of relief that the weather will remain dry in the plains of the state. There was snowfall in Yamunotri on Friday. Due to which the cold has increased in the surrounding areas.
The travelers visiting Yamunotri Dham enjoyed the snowfall a lot. There was snowfall in Badrinath and Kedarnath also. The impact of snowfall in the mountains was also felt in the lower areas. The temperature in Dehradun fell by 4.2 degrees within 24 hours. It was cloudy here after 11 am on Friday. On the other hand, there was snowfall in Kedarnath for the third day. Due to this the reconstruction work in Kedarnath has been affected. Drizzle and light rain occurred in Dehradun, Chakrata and Vikasnagar. There was snowfall at some places in the hilly areas, drizzle occurred even late in the evening.
