IMD issues weather alert on Char Dham route

People are troubled by the scorching heat in the plains of Uttarakhand. Due to the increasing temperature, the difficulties of the people have also increased. A big update of IMD has come out in Uttarakhand Weather forecast. In such a situation, the pilgrims going on Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra need to be alert. Alert has been issued in the weather forecast for Uttarakhand.

A huge crowd of pilgrims is being seen in the four dhams. The difficulties of the pilgrims had increased after the snowfall in Kedarnath last month. Pilgrims from other states of the country including UP, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi-NCR are coming to visit the Char Dhams.

There is a possibility of rain in Uttarakhand for four days from June 15. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding rain, lightning and strong winds in the hilly districts for the next four days. According to the department, light to moderate rain may occur in some places of the hilly districts of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Kumaon divisions on Thursday.

Light rain may occur at isolated places in the rest of the districts. Strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour at some places. The weather is expected to be bad in the hilly districts on 16th and 17th also. On 18th, there is a possibility of rain and gusty winds at a speed of 60 to 70 kmph at many places in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh district including the districts of Garhwal division.
