Uttarakhand corona update: 13 cases found on 20 February
On Saturday, only 13 new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand, while none of the infected died. After almost eight months in the state, so few corona patients have been found in one day. According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, on Saturday, a total of 9550 samples were reported in the state out of which 13 came positive while the rest of the reports were negative.
No new corona patients were found in Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Pauri, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi and Tehri. Corona infection was confirmed in five people in Dehradun district, two in Champawat, two in Haridwar, one in Nainital and four in US Nagar district. So far a total of 96657 people have had corona in the state.
More than 93 thousand have been cured. 1686 have died and 454 people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. On Saturday, samples of more than seven thousand patients have been sent for examination. The rate of infection in the state has reached close to four percent and the recovery rate of patients is more than 96 percent.
2602 people injected corona vaccine
2602 people got corona vaccination on Saturday in the state. With this, the total number of people who have been vaccinated against Corona has exceeded 1 lakh 36 thousand. While the number of those applying the second dose has reached close to eight thousand. So far, about 80 thousand health care workers and 56 thousand front line workers have been vaccinated with the Corona vaccine.
