Total corona cases in Uttarakhand go past 25000
The total Corona cases detected till date in Uttarakhand has gone past 25000. On Monday, 807 new cases have been reported in Uttarakhand, of which maximum 241 are from Dehradun. Apart from this 142 from Nainital, 118 from Udham Singh Nagar, 84 from Pauri Garhwal, 73 from Haridwar, 41 from Tehri Garhwal, 35 from Uttarkashi, 19 from Champawat, 13 in Almora, 12 in Chamoli, 15 in Rudraprayag and 7 cases each have been reported in Pithoragarh-Bageshwar. At the same time, 473 have fully recovered, while seven have died today. Now the number of corona infected has increased to 25436 in the state. However, 17046 of these patients have recovered. At present 7965 cases are active, while 348 have died. Apart from this, 77 patients have gone out of the state.
5 more deaths of corona positive patients
Five more corona-infected patients died in Dehradun district. A 82-year-old elderly resident of Sangam Vihar, Harrawala was admitted to Doon Medical College Hospital on 27 August. A 83-year-old woman resident of Dakra was admitted to the hospital on 30 August. Apart from this, a 65-year-old man resident of Inder Road has also died in hospital. He was hospitalized from September 1. While a 42-year-old resident of Tyagi Road and a 55-year-old woman resident of Mehunwala succumbed on reaching the hospital.
Doon has reached first place in the case of active case of Corona in the plains of the state. While Haridwar is second, Udham Singh Nagar is third and Nainital is fourth.
Cases rise, Hosiptals beds under stress
More than 200 Corona-infected patients are reported daily in the district for the last three days. Majority of them are being admitted in AIIMS Rishikesh and Government Doon Medical Hospital. Apart from this, a few days ago several private hospitals have also been allowed to enroll corona patients. Like AIIMS and Doon Hospital, the beds of General and ICU are almost full in private hospitals too.
