Uttarakhand weather update: Rains forecast till Juy 12
It is raining incessantly in Uttarakhand since Sunday morning. It is raining across the state including capital Dehradun, Rishikesh, Mussoorie. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy to very heavy rain across the state till July 12. Director of Meteorological Department Dr. Bikram Singh says that there will be heavy rains for till July 12.
Heavy to very heavy rain warning was issued yesterday for next four days in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has asked the Disaster Management Department and the district administration to be on high alert. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rains in the state till July 12.
Due to heavy rains in the state, the Meteorological Department has warned of landslides in the mountains and increase in the water level of the rivers. Along with this, people have been warned against traveling to the mountains to go on a journey to get weather updates. It rained throughout the state on Saturday due to which the temperature dropped.
