Corona active case count reaches 2400 in Uttarakhand

Corona infection is increasing rapidly in Uttarakhand. On Friday, 364 newly infected patients have come up in last 24 hours. At the same time, two patients have died. The number of active patients in the state has crossed 2400. While the total number of patients has reached 100911.

According to the health department data, 9291 samples reported on Friday have come negative. At the same time, the maximum number of 139 corona infected patients was found in Dehradun district. 118 were infected in Haridwar, 34 in Nainital, 31 in Udham Singhnagar, 12 in Pauri, 6 each in Almora and Champawat, 2 each in Bageshwar and Pithoragarh, 1 in Chamoli, 5 each in Rudraprayag and Tehri and 3 in Uttarkashi.

So far 1721 infected patients have died in the state. Active patients are increasing as the number of cured people is lower than the infected. On Friday, the number of active patients reached 2404. Today 194 patients were sent home after recovering. So far 95649 patients have been cured. The rate of recovery of infected people in the state is 94.44 percent.

MLA Ganesh Joshi tests positive for Corona

Military Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi of Uttarakhand has tested positive for Corona. He has gone into self isolation.
