Uttarakhand Corona update 7 Aug: 278 new cases found in last 24 hours
Corona infection continues to increase in Uttarakhand. On Friday, 278 cases were reported, of which the maximum 85 cases were reported in Udham Singh Nagar district. Apart from this, 73 cases have been reported in Dehradun, Haridwar 34, Nainital 25, Tehri 16, Champawat seven, six cases each in Pithoragarh and Uttarkashi, four Rudraprayag, one Chamoli. At the same time, 304 patients have fully recovered, while fourteen infected have died. Now the number of corona infections has increased to 8901 in the state, out of which 5731 people have become healthy. Currently 3020 cases are active, while 112 have died. Apart from this, 38 patients have gone out of the state.
Army soldier found corona positive
Random report of an army jawan from J&K at Jolly Grant Airport has come out positive. The jawan was transported from ambulance at Tilu Rauteli Bhawan in Survey Chowk Dehradun for treatment at the center.
An employee posted at the municipal corporation Roorkee, has become corona infected. After which the Municipal Corporation office is sealed. Other personnel who came in contact with the employee are being identified. They are also being investigated for Covid-19. Three days ago the chronic infection has also been confirmed in a municipal contractor.
Corona infections are increasing rapidly in Uttarakhand. On Thursday too, 369 more people including 66 Army and ITBP personnel have been found infected. Apart from this, the report of the Mayor of Rudrapur has also come positive.
