Self employed women in the state to get Rs 1 lakh subsidy announces CM Dhami
To promote self-employment among the women of Uttarakhand, Mukhyamantri Nari Sashaktikaran Yojana will be started in the state. On Sunday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announced this scheme in the inaugural program of the National Working Committee of BJP Mahila Morcha.
Chief Minister Dhami said that today women of our state are doing all kinds of work for self-employment. To promote self-employment among women, he announced Mukhyamantri Nari Sashaktikaran Yojana. He told that under this scheme, a subsidy of one lakh rupees will be given to more than 15 thousand women in the current financial year.
He said that this scheme would be operated under the Rural Development Department. Under the scheme, the responsibility of passing the project will be of the committee constituted under the chairmanship of GM District Industries Center in urban areas, while in rural areas it will be the committee constituted under the chairmanship of BDO. The committee itself will pass the project. After which the path of taking loan will be easy for the concerned woman, as well as relief from getting subsidy of one lakh rupees.
Subsidy of 30 percent or one lakh
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that his government is working towards making women self-reliant. Under the Mukhyamantri Nari Sashaktikaran Yojana, self-employed women will be able to get loans easily. Under this scheme, they will get a subsidy of 30 percent of the project cost or one lakh rupees. All women can take advantage of the Chief Minister’s Women Empowerment Scheme.
5 lakh loan without interest
CM Pushkar Dhami said that they have been linked to the National Livelihood Mission as well as other schemes to connect women with self-employment. Arrangements have been made to provide self-help groups without interest loans up to Rs.5 lakh, as well as marketing their products. The Prasad scheme has also become the basis of their financial independence. A package of 119 crores has also been arranged for this.
