DGCA issues guidelines to airlines making masks mandatory for passengers

In view of the increase in Covid-19 cases, new instructions have been issued to airlines companies. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that it has issued instructions to airlines that passengers should be properly wearing face masks and properly sanitized during the journey. If any passenger does not follow the instructions, then strict action should be taken against the passenger by the airline.

Covid-19 still exists

At the same time, Dr. VK Paul, Member (Health) of NITI Aayog said that Covid-19 still persists. We cannot predict a change in the number of cases so we need to be alert and take precautionary doses. The Corbevax vaccine can now be combined with Covaxin and Covishield.

Corona cases are increasing once again in many states of the country. The capital Delhi is in the worst condition. In the last few days, more than 2 thousand new cases are being reported daily in Delhi. Whereas on an average 5 to 8 people are dying. However, less than 1000 new cases were reported on Tuesday. The health department has urged people to strictly follow the corona protocol and wear masks. The Center has also expressed concern over the Corona cases.

The number of corona infected started increasing again

The number of corona infected in the country has started increasing again. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday (August 17), 9,062 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is 249 more than yesterday. At the same time, 36 patients lost their lives. In yesterday’s figure, 8,813 cases were reported and 29 patients died. The number of active patients in the country has gone up to 1,05,058 which is 6,194 less than yesterday. A total of 5,27,134 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic.

Number of corona infected increased in Delhi hospitals

The number of corona infected in Delhi hospitals is increasing rapidly. During this time it has also come to the fore that the number of patients admitted to the hospital has also increased. While tweeting, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has warned people not to think that the pandemic is over yet. In the last 24 hours, 917 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi. At the same time, three people have died during this period. The infection rate has been recorded at 19.20 percent.
