Uttarkashi tunnel collapse: Food being delivered through pipes to the trapped workers

Rescue operations are in full swing to rescue 40 laborers trapped in the Uttarkashi Silkyara Tunnel accident. From PM Modi to CM Dhami, they are constantly keeping an eye on the rescue operation. Heavy excavator machines have been deployed to rescue 40 workers trapped in the tunnel accident and remove debris. Workers trapped in the tunnel are being contacted through walkie-talkies. All 40 workers are said to be safe. Oxygen is being supplied through the pipeline laid for supplying water in the tunnel. Food is being supplied to the workers through this pipeline. At night, gram packets were sent under pressure through a compressor to the workers trapped in the tunnel.

A major accident took place in Uttarkashi on the day of Diwali. 40 workers working in the tunnel were left inside after a part of the tunnel under construction from Silkyara to Dandalgaon collapsed. After more than 24 hours, the workers could not be evacuated. Rescue operations are ongoing to clear the debris.
