Stock market update: Sensex, Nifty open in green on October 27

The domestic stock market, which was closing in the red for six consecutive days, finally opened in the green in the last session of the week. The index Sensex of Bombay Stock Exchange was seen trading at the level of 63488 with a jump of 340 points at the time of market opening on Friday i.e. at 9.15 am. Similarly, Nifty of National Stock Exchange was also seen trading at the level of 18947, rising by 90 points.

The stock market had given indications of a positive start in the pre-opening itself today. At 9.04 am, BSE Sensex was seen trading at the level of 63503.75 with a gain of 355.60 points. Similarly, Nifty of National Stock Exchange was also seen trading at the level of 18901.60 with a gain of 44 points. Mixed signals were seen in the international market today. A bullish trend is being seen in the Asian market. However, there was a decline in the American market.

Sensex had lost 900 points in the last session

BSE’s benchmark Sensex fell 900.91 points or 1.41 percent to close at 63,148.15 in the last session on Thursday, while NSE Nifty fell 264.90 points or 1.39 percent to close at 18,857.25.
