Indian Army’s assault dog ‘Zoom’ was seriously injured while fighting terrorists in an operation in Kokernag area of ​​Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. Even after being hit by 2 bullets, the canine stood firm against the terrorists. The official Twitter handle of the Indian Army’s Chinar Corps shared the details of the operation named ‘Tangpawa’. The army said that two terrorists were eliminated in this operation, while the zoom got hit by 2 bullets. The assault dog of the army is currently undergoing treatment at the Army Veterinary Hospital in Srinagar.

 

The condition of ‘​​Zoom’ is stable after the surgery. His broken hind leg was plastered and the injuries on his face were treated. The next 24-48 hours are critical for him. A team of doctors is monitoring him. The Indian Army also shared a video of its brave dog Zoom. Which has been trained to locate and apprehend terrorists. It has been said about Zoom in the video that it is very trained, fearless and committed. Trained to trace and nab terrorists, Zoom has been a part of Army operations. The video also details the operation in which Zoom was seriously injured.

The army said that on the morning of October 10, an operation started in Kokernag of Anantnag. In the operation, Zoom was tasked to clear the house where the terrorists were hiding. Zoom identified the terrorists and attacked them. During which he was hit by two bullets. The Indian Army said that Zoom continued its work despite serious injuries. Due to which both the terrorists were eliminated.
