Diwali bonus gift to 1.30 lakh Uttarakhand state government employees, order issued

Two days before Diwali, the state government has gifted bonus to 1.30 lakh employees. Late on Friday evening, the Finance Department issued orders regarding the release of bonus. An amount ranging from Rs 1,184 to Rs 6,908 will be released to the employees as bonus.

According to the order issued by Additional Secretary (Finance) Ganga Prasad, all the non-gazetted category employees of Group B and C of the state government whose grade pay is Rs 4,800 will receive an amount of Rs 6,908 as ad-hoc bonus for 30 days.

Apart from these, an amount of Rs 1184 will be released to casual or daily wage employees who have worked for at least 240 days every year in the last three years or more in six-day week work, but there will be a ban on the bonus of such employees whose Departmental disciplinary action has been taken against them. This stay will continue until the outcome of the case is received.
