Uttarakhand corona update: Daily case count goes past 200
The pace of corona infection is increasing in Uttarakhand. On Friday, the number of infected in the state crossed 200. Within the last 24 hours, 201 new infected have been found in the state. While 103 patients have been cured. Not a single patient died on Friday. At the same time, the number of active patients is also increasing continuously. Presently 894 corona patients are undergoing treatment in the state. While on Thursday there were 808 active patients in the state.
According to the Health Department, the test report of 1664 samples has come negative on Friday. At the same time, maximum 117 cases in Dehradun district, 12 in Haridwar, 37 in Nainital, 4 in Almora, 1 each in Chamoli and Tehri, 4 in Champawat, 2 in Pauri, 3 in Pithoragarh, 13 in Udham Singh Nagar and 7 cases in Uttarkashi. The recovery rate of the state was 95.21 percent and the infection rate was recorded at 10.78 percent.
