Chardham Yatra 2023: Portals of Gangotri temple closed for winter

The doors of Gangotri Dham were closed for devotees today for the winter season. The procession has left for Mukhba. The process of closing the doors of Badrinath Dham has also started from today. According to religious tradition, after the prayers and offerings, the doors of the Lord Ganesha temple located in the Dham complex will be closed for the winter season. Whereas the doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed on November 18 at 3:33 pm.

Tomorrow on 15th November, on the holy festival of Bhai Dooj, the doors of Yamunotri will also be closed at the scheduled time at 11:57 am. After performing special puja, anointment etc., the doors of the temple will be closed for six months for the winter season.
