Total corona case count crosses 60000 in Uttarakhand

359 new corona infected have been found in Uttarakhand on Saturday. Today 05 infected patients have died in the state. At the same time, 451 patients have been sent home after recovering. The total number of infected has reached 60155. 54169 patients have been cured.

In Roorkee, Uttarakhand State Primary Teachers Association officials have submitted a memorandum to the Chief Education Officer, Dr. Anand Bhardwaj, demanding that the corona test of teachers be made voluntary instead of mandatory every month. Officials say that public dealing is not being done by teachers. So they should be free from the inevitability of the corona test.

Recently, the District Magistrate had issued orders that officers and employees of all departments should undergo mandatory corona check every month. So as to prevent corona infection. Since then, corona tests of officers and employees are being conducted. District President Ashok Chauhan, District General Minister Jitendra Chaudhary, Treasurer Arun Kumar etc. were present in the memorandum.
