Uttarakhand corona update: 59 new cases reported on 30 December
In the last 24 hours, 59 new corona infected have come to the fore in the state. No patient has died there. A total of 16 patients have won the battle against Corona on Thursday. Now there are 255 active cases in the state.
Maximum number of cases in Dehradun
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department, the maximum number of new cases reported on Thursday are 25 in Dehradun, 12 in Nainital, 2 each in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar, 7 in Haridwar, 1 each in Chamoli and Uttarkashi, 9 in Udham Singh Nagar district. .
So far, a total of 344940 people have been corona infected in the state. Out of which 331059 corona infected have recovered.
India recorded an average of over 8,000 cases per day last week. This information was given by the Union Health Ministry. On Thursday, Joint Secretary, Union Health Ministry, Lav Agarwal said that overall the positivity rate of cases is 0.92%. He told that since December 26, 10,000 cases are being reported daily in the country. The Health Ministry said weekly positivity rates of more than 10% are being noted in 8 districts including 6 districts of Mizoram, one district of Arunachal Pradesh, Kolkata in West Bengal. He said that the weekly case positivity rate in 14 districts is between 5-10%.
