Uttarakhand corona update 9 August: 230 cases found today

On Sunday, 230 newly infected patients have been reported in the state. With this, the number of infected has now reached 9632.

According to the Bulletin from the Health Department, today maximum number of 127 cases have been reported in Haridwar. At the same time, one in Chamoli, 34 in Dehradun, 16 in Nainital, three in Pauri, eight in Rudraprayag, 11 in Tehri, 19 in Udham Singh Nagar and four in Uttarkashi have been found.

So far 6134 patients have recovered and returned home. At the same time, 125 infected patients have died. There are still 3334 active cases in the state. The doubling rate of patients reached 23.46 days. While the recovery rate has reached 63.68 percent.

Four Corona infected die in AIIMS Rishikesh and one in Doon

On Sunday, five corona infected patients died in the state. An elderly man died in Doon Hospital. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, four Covid-19 positive patients suffering from various complex diseases died in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh. Apart from this, 26 people have been reported to be Covid positive in the sample investigation. These include nine local people.

AIIMS Public Relations Officer Harish Mohan Thapliyal said that a 55-year-old woman resident of Kotdwar, came to AIIMS on August 8, suffering from diabetes, hypertension and kidney problems. She was admitted to the Covid ICU where her sample came positive, the woman died during treatment at midnight Saturday.

Apart from this, a 75-year-old woman from Saharanpur came to AIIMS on Saturday with breathing problems and chest lumps. She died of a heart attack Sunday morning during treatment. On the other hand, there is a 37-year-old woman from Moradabad, UP, who came to AIIMS on July 28 with chest pain, fever and breathing problems for the last four days.
