Rainfall is expected in the mountainous districts even after May 5. According to the Meteorological Department, western disturbance has become quite active in the state at this time. The effect of which is likely to last for six to seven days. On Sunday, there is a possibility of light rain, hailstorm, lightning in some places in the mountainous districts of Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Pithoragarh etc. Higher areas may experience snowfall. While in other parts the weather can be dry and humid. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, there is a possibility of dark clouds, light to moderate rain, lightning and snowfall in the mountainous districts. On May 5, there may be rains in the plains as well. According to Meteorological Director Bikram Singh, the weather will remain unchanged for the next two days after May 5, there will be no specific change in it. At present, a system is active over Rajasthan, South Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir. Due to this, rain was recorded in the districts of Pithoragarh, Nainital, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Rudraprayag etc.
Weather change in Dehradun
