4.3 magnitude Earthquake recorded in Pithoragarh on November 9

Earthquake tremors were felt in Uttarakhand for the second time in early hours on November 9. People who were awake in the night came out of the houses in panic. According to the news agency, the first epicenter of the earthquake was in Nepal. Its intensity was measured at 6.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground. The other center was Pithoragarh. This time its intensity was 4.3.

Uttarakhand comes in the very sensitive seismic zone four from the point of view of earthquakes. Once the state has suffered great devastation due to earthquake. The earthquake that occurred late Tuesday night created panic among the people.

 

Earlier, earthquake tremors were felt in many areas of the state including Dehradun at 1.57 am. This shock came at a time when people were in deep sleep. People came out of their homes at many places in the city. At the same time, the windows of the houses were also felt shaking. According to the National Center of Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was in Nepal.
