Uttarakhand corona update: 156 cases reported on 11 January
Over the past few months, the rate of new corona patients has steadily decreased. On Monday, 156 cases of corona have been found in the state. Many days later it has happened that less than two hundred cases have come in a day. Due to which the system has also breathed a sigh of relief. According to the Health Department, test reports of 10180 samples were received from private and government labs. Of these, 10024 sample reports have been negative. 56 people have been found infected in Dehradun. In Nainital, 44 people have reported positive. Apart from this, 17 persons have been found infected in Udham Singh Nagar, 15 in Haridwar, eight in Pauri, seven in Tehri, four in Rudraprayag, three in Champawat, two in Pithoragarh and one each in Uttarkashi, Almora, Bageshwar and Chamoli. So far, 93777 cases have been reported in the state. In which 88196 people have been healthy. There are currently 2753 active patients. 1250 patients have gone out of state.
94% recovery rate reached
The recovery rate in Uttarakhand is improving everyday. Every day more patients are getting healthier than new cases. This trend continued on Monday as well. Nearly three and a half times more than those infected, 523 people have recovered. Out of which 174 are from Dehradun, 123 Nainital, 78 Haridwar, 29 Pithoragarh, 40 Udham Singh Nagar, 38 Almora, 16 Tehri, eight Uttarkashi, six each from Bageshwar and Chamoli and five patients from Rudraprayag. The recovery rate in the present state is 94.05 percent. Five patients died. The number of patients dying due to corona in the state has also decreased now. Now an average of five or six deaths are occurring every day. Whereas till December this figure used to be in the tens. On Monday, five patients succumbed during treatment. Four patients have died in Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and Dr. Sushila Tiwari Government Hospital in Haldwani. So far 1578 corona infected patients have died in the state.
