CBSE class XII Economics re-exam to be held on 25th April

CBSE has announced new dates for the examination in the paper leak case on Friday. The examination for the subject of economics of  class 12th will be held on April 25. No decision has been taken regarding the 10th exam.

Announcing the new dates in the Press Conference organized by Education Secretary Anil Swarup, he said that the 12th class economics  re-examination will be conducted all over the country. While the 10th class mathematics test can be done in July.

On the other hand, the CBSE chairman said on the possibility of re-examination of the 10th math examination that the announcement of this class result will not be delayed. Students passing in 5 out of 6 subjects participate in the compartment examination. Compartment papers are usually done in July only. In these circumstances, such students get admission in the next class.

Education Secretary Swarup said that the examination of the 10th math can be organized in July, which might be held only in Delhi, NCR and Haryana. In this case, the decision will be taken in the next 15 days. This test will be done only if needed.

Swaroop said that there is no immediate solution to the issue of paper leak. Regarding the 10th math examination, he clarified that as the case of paper leak was limited to Delhi and Haryana, the same examination can be done again in these places. If this test happens then it will be done in July.

Speaking on the issue of paper leak outside the country, he said that there is no information about paper leak outside India, so there is no need to take any examination again. He said that the committee of 3 members will conduct internal examination and in its investigation, the committee will search for such incidents and will find such techniques, so that such incidents do not occur in the future.

Members of NSUI also protested in Delhi on Friday in the CBSE paper leak case. Later, the delegation of NSUI and ABVP went out separately and met Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar. After meeting Javadekar, National President of NSUI Feroz Khan said that the minister has assured that he will announce new dates till this evening. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s delegation also said the same.
