Maharashtra records most deaths due to Covid-19 in one day
The number of corona patients is continuously increasing across the country. The most affected state of Corona in India is Maharashtra. In the last 24 hours, 2436 new cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra. During this time 139 people have also died from Corona. This is the highest number of deaths in a day from Covid-19 in Maharashtra. Of the 139 people who died, 75 are male and 64 are female. With this, so far 2849 people have died from Corona.
The total number of patients in Maharashtra has increased to 80, 229. The number of active patients in the state is currently 42,215. So far, 35,156 patients have been discharged in the state. Today 1,475 patients have been discharged from the hospital. The most patients in Maharashtra have come from Mumbai. Corona has now infected 46,080 in Mumbai after the latest figures.
The death toll from Corona in Mumbai is 1,519. In the last 24 hours, 1,149 new patients have been recorded in Mumbai and 54 people have died. So far 5,22,946 sample tests have been conducted in Maharashtra. Corona’s recovery rate in the state is 43.81 percent and the death rate is 3.55 percent.
Earlier on Thursday, 123 people died of corona in Maharashtra and 2993 new patients were reported. At the same time, 1439 new cases were reported in Mumbai and 48 people died.
