IMD issues orange alert for heat wave in several parts of India

In most parts of the country, heat wave has increased the problems of the people. The harsh nature of the sun has made the situation worse. Meteorologists say that if this rise in temperature continues, then the mercury may reach 47 degree Celsius in some parts of Northwest India. According to the information shared by the Meteorological Department, severe heat is occurring in most areas of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Orange alert in Rajasthan, MP and Maharashtra

According to the report of news agency PTI, the Meteorological Department has issued an ‘orange alert’ of severe heat in parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature in the north-west region may increase further by one to two degrees Celsius. Also, the heatwave is likely to intensify during the next five days.

Heat wave will continue

According to the Meteorological Department, during the next five days, heat wave conditions will prevail in Northwest and Central India, while in East India during the next three days. Not only this, the maximum temperature is likely to increase by about two degrees Celsius over most parts of Northwest India during the next two days.

In Rajasthan. Ganganagar recorded the highest temperature in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, Ganganagar recorded 45.7, Bikaner 45, Churu 45.5, Barmer 44.4, Pilani 44.8 and Kota 44.5 degrees Celsius.
