DU student kidnapped and killed; met the murderer on a dating App

In Delhi, a sensational case of kidnapping and murdering a student has surfaced. The family have alleged that their child died due to the negligence of police in Palam police station. Meanwhile, the police arrested the accused of the murder. The police has identified the accused as Ishtiaq.

According to the police, during interrogation, Ishtiaq said that shortly after meeting on a dating website,  he had a friendship with Ayush Nautiyal a B.Com student of Ramlal Anand College of Delhi University. After they  met three times within 10 days.

However, on 22 March, when both met, there was some heated arguments between the two of them. The quarrel increased so much that Ishtiaq struck multiple times with a hammer on the head of boy, causing his death. Ayush was missing from that day.

When thir son did not return home till evening, his parents were worried. After finding everywhere the relatives informed the police. Meanwhile, Ayush’s father, Dinesh, received a message on Whatsapp, in which a ransom of Rs 50 lakh was sought with photograph of Ayush.

Ayush was tied in the hands and feet in the photo sent by the kidnappers. The bandage was tied on his head. Ayush’s father said that the picture also showed blood stains on his shirt. Kidnapper was demanding a ransom of 50 lakhs and was using Ayush’s mobile phone to contact with the family. Meanwhile, the family members also collected the amount of ransom Rs 10 lakh.

Kidnapper, however, kept the family members moving from one place to another. But there was no ransom money anywhere. Later on Thursday, the dead body of Ayush found in Sector 13 of Dwarka.
