Uttarakhand corona restrictions extended till October 19

The big news from Uttarakhand at this time is that the night curfew has been extended till October 19 in Uttarakhand. Few of the key points of the curfew from October 4 to October 19 are:

1- ‘COVID Restrictions’ will be effective from 05.10.2021 06:00 AM to 19.10.2021 06:00 AM. The program of Vaccination will continue in the state amid ‘COVID Restrictions’.

2. In view of the decrease in the number of infections of COVID-19, in the corona curfew period, people are allowed to attend the marriage ceremony with 50 percent of the capacity of the wedding venue / wedding point under the COVID protocol.

3. According to the standard practice issued by the Department of School Education, Government of Uttarakhand in September, 2021 (from class 01 to 05) and the guidelines issued by the Department of School Education from time to time, educational activities will be conducted in the state and the said standard practice method will be followed by the concerned. Strict compliance will be ensured.

4. All Industrial Training Institutes, Polytechnic Colleges, Medical and Nursing Colleges, Engineering Colleges, Agricultural and Technology Institutes, All Universities and all other educational institutions of the State will be operated as per the standard practice issued by the concerned department.

5. All training institutes (government and non-government) of the state, trainees will be allowed to provide training following the Covid protocol.

6. All the coaching institutes of the state which provide training and coaching to the students/candidates will open with 50 percent capacity following the COVID protocol and the provision of online/distance learning will continue. This arrangement will be encouraged by the institutions concerned.

7. All social/political/entertainment/cultural/religious functions/other gatherings and large congregation shall be conducted with 50% strength of the venue and following the COVID protocol.

8. In view of the weekend crowd in all the tourist places of the state, the district administration will ensure that the tourists strictly follow the COVID Appropriate Behavior like wearing of social distance mask and sanitizing hands etc. at these tourist places. Strict action will be taken against the concerned for violating the above.

9. Persons coming from outside the state are after 15 days of applying both the doses of Vaccine and after showing the Vaccination certificate at the airport/ railway station/ border check post of the state by those vaccinated persons will be allowed to enter Uttarakhand and  will be exempted from RT PCR / TrueNat / CBNAAT / RAT COVID Negative Test Report but after those persons enter the state, MHA, MoH&FW GOl and SOP of the state government and COVID Safety Protocol compliance will be mandatory.

10. All those persons coming to Uttarakhand state from outside states who do not have a certificate of COVID Vaccination, all those persons are allowed to enter the state only with RT PCR / TrueNat / CBNAAT / RAT COVID Negative Test Report not exceeding 72 hours before.

11. All persons coming to Uttarakhand state from outside states will have to compulsorily register on Smart City’s web portal ‘http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in’ and after all persons enter the state, MHA, MoH&FW The SOPs issued by GOI and State Government have to be complied with.
