CISCE announces datesheet of Board Exams 2021

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has announced the dates of class 10 (ICSE) and 12th (ISC) examination 2021. The class 10 examination will start from May 5 and the class 12 examination will start from April 8. Usually CICSE Board Examination are held in February-March. However, this year the examination is being delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The exam results will be released through the school coordinator. Exam results will not be available from the council office.

ICSE Class 10 exams 2021

ICSE i.e. class 10th examinations will start from May 05. Gary Arathoon, secretary of the CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) said, “The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) will be held from May 5 to June 7. The examinations will start from 11 o’clock in the day. Exams of some papers will be held from 9 am.

ISC class 12 exam

The class 12 ie ISC board exam will start from 8 April 2021. On April 8, there will be a practical-planning session of Computer Science Paper-2, which will be a 90-minute paper. The exam time for the rest of the subjects starting from May 5 will be 3 hours.

The date sheet for the examination of both the classes can be seen on the official website of the ICSE Board, cisce.org.

Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed the examinations for May-June this year. Last year, CICSE had to cancel some of its examinations due to increase in Covid-19 cases. At the same time, the results were announced based on the alternative evaluation plan decided by the board. As per the plan, the candidates were evaluated on the basis of the three best percentage marks obtained in the subjects for which the board examination was conducted and their internal assessment as well as project work were taken into consideration.
