Renault launches Kiger in India at Rs 5.45 lakh
France’s leading automaker Renault has finally launched its most affordable compact SUV Renault Kiger in the Indian market. Adorned with a very attractive look and strong engine capacity, the starting price of this SUV has been set at Rs 5.45 lakh (Ex-showroom, Pan India). The company has currently launched it in the market with an introductory price, it is clear that in the near future the company may increase its price.
Booking of Renault Kiger is also being started from today. This is the first car from the company that has been introduced with 4 different engine gearbox systems with four trims. The price of all its variants and trim is also different, ranging from Rs 5.45 lakh to Rs 9.55 lakh.
Engine Capacity: In Renault Kiger, the company is using the same engine as the one used in Magnite. This car is available with two petrol engine options. Its 1.0 liter capacity natural aspirated engine generates 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. At the same time, its turbo engine generates 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque. This SUV is available with both manual and automatic transmission, gearbox.
Excellent Space: This SUV has been built on the CMF-A + platform, on which Nissan Magnite, Kwid and Triber were built. Its length is 3,991 mm, width 1750 mm and height is 1,600 mm. Apart from this, the 2500 mm long wheelbase has been given in this car. The company claims that this car offers the best space in its segment. In the second row, it gets 220mm leg room. Not only this, it also offers a great boot space of 405 liters, which makes it even better in its class.
Features: The company has also included new and modern features in this SUV. It will get features like 7 inch digital instrument cluster, LED projector headlamp, cruise control, steering mounted control, voice recognition technology, push button start and stop and automatic climate control with 8 inch touch screen infotainment system.
