This year Sensex and Nifty have given more than 4 per cent returns in the market.

Sensex and Nifty returns in 2022

There was a stir in the market due to Corona virus, Russia-Ukraine war, interest rates of Federal Reserve, repo rate, fuel prices etc. However, despite this, Sensex and Nifty have given positive returns to the investors. This year the Sensex has given a return of 4.44 percent and the Nifty has given a return of 4.32 percent.

Growth in the last 6 months

In the last 6 months of this year, the Sensex gained momentum and made many records one after the other. The Sensex has gained 2,586.92 points (4.44%) this year. After this, Nifty also showed a rise in the last 6 months. The Nifty has registered a gain of 751.25 points (4.32%) this year.

All time high levels

Apart from this, in the year 2022, both the major indices Sensex and Nifty reached their record levels. On December 1, the Sensex hit its all-time high of 63,583.07 points, while on June 17, it also fell to a 52-week low of 50,921.22 points. Along with this, Nifty also set its all-time high in the year 2022. Nifty’s all time high was 18887.60. Whereas Nifty’s 52 week low was 15183.40.
