The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of the Government of India has posted advertisements for 130 categories of Group-B (non-gazetted) and Group-C, under which 1136 vacancies will be filled in different departments / organizations. According to the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension Affairs, 299 vacancies are in 36 categories of posts in the Northern Region of the Commission. It states that any applicant can apply for more than one position in more than one area. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, which will be in the form of computer based examination. Detailed information related to posts and vacancies, eligibility conditions and application process can also be obtained from the website.
Candidates can apply online by visiting the Official Selection Commission’s official website ssc.online. The last date for application is 30 September 2018.
