Uttarakhand Corona news: 199 new cases found on 30 July
Corona was confirmed in 199 more people in Uttarakhand on Thursday. So far, a total of 7065 corona cases have been reported in Uttarakhand. Of these, 3996 have been recovered. 2955 patients are admitted in various hospitals and covid-care centers, while 38 have migrated of state. At the same time, 76 patients have lost their lives. On Thursday, 199 new cases have been reported, of which the highest, 74 were from Dehradun district. Out of these 44 had come in contact with earlier Corona cases while travel history of 30 was not reported. Apart from this, 47 cases have been reported in Haridwar, 26 in Nainital, 17 in Champawat, 09 in Pithoragarh, 07 in Uttarkashi, 06 in Chamoli, 4 in Pauri, 3 each in Rudraprayag and US Nagar, 2 in Bageshwar and one in Almora. At the same time, 185 people have recovered today.
Three patients died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh. All three tested positive for coronavirus. AIIM’s public relations officer Harish Mohan said that a 21-year-old youth from Jwalapur Haridwar was admitted on July 24 with a kidney and liver infection complaint. Here his Covid-19 report came positive. He died late on Wednesday night. The local administration has been informed about this. Another patient, a 55-year-old resident of Roshanabad Haridwar, was brought to the emergency on the night of 28 July. The patient was unconscious. He was later declared dead. The patient’s corona sample was sent for examination, the report has come positive. The third patient is a 75-year-old woman resident of Jwalapur Haridwar. On the complaint of chest pain for the past one week, the woman was brought in critical condition on Wednesday midnight emergency. She died on Thursday morning. The patient’s Covid-19 report is positive.
So far, 1.45 lakh Covid samples have been tested on a population of 1.25 crore in the state. More than 6800 corona infected cases were found in it. The infection rate of the state has increased due to increase in daily corona infected cases for the last two weeks. Today 5285 samples were sent for testing.
