Usain Bolt scores twice on professional football debut

Former Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt made a fantastic start in his professional football career. In Friday’s debut match, he scored two goals. The Jamaican 32-year-old Bolt scored two goals in the second half, playing at the Central Coast Mariners in a friendly match against McArthur Southwest United in Sydney. He scored goals in the 57th and 68th minutes of the match.

Central Coast Mariners beat MacArthur South West United 4-0 in a one-sided way thanks to eight-time Olympic champion Bolt’s splendid two goals. Apart from Bolt, Ross McCormack scored thein the  seventh and Jordan Murray in the 42nd minute.

Bolt, however, had earlier made it to the Central Coast Mariners in the 72nd minute of the match as a substitute in August, but this time he played as a forward.
Substitute Bolt was associated with the A-League Club Central Coast Mariner in August. He has already done a training with Germany’s club Borussia Dortmund, South African club Sundowns and Norway’s club Stromsgodset. Bolt had practiced football with these clubs after retiring from athletics.
