Maruti Suzuki recalls 1279 units of Dzire and Swift due to faulty air bags

Maruti Suzuki issueed voluntary recollection for new-generation swift and Dzire models. They have been recalled in India about the possibility of any shortcomings in the Airbag Controller Unit of these two cars. It will be examined by the company. Total 1279 unit vehicles have been recalled, of which 566 are swift and 713 are Dzire. These vehicles have been produced from May 7 to July 5, 2018, which are part of this recall exercise. Automaker Maruti Suzuki has announced that the company will start this campaign from July 25, 2018 for which the owners of the vehicle will be contacted by the dealership and repair of the car will be done free of charge.

Customers have the option of logging on Maruti Suzuki’s website, then will have to enter the chassis number and the rest of their car details. The vehicle’s chassis is printed on the id plate of the vehicle, and the car’s chassis number is also written on the vehicle’s invoice / registration card. To know whether your vehicle is included in this recall list or not, you can also contact your nearest Maruti Suzuki dealer. This is the second recall of Swift’s company this year, in May 2018, the company had also recalled 52,686 units of the new Swift and Baleno hatchback. At that time there was a problem in the car break vacuum hose.
