China veto’s decision to declare Masood Azhar a global terrorist

For the fourth time China has become a barrier to declare Masood Azhar as a global terrorist. China vetoed Masood Azhar on the proposal to declare him a global terrorist. With this, the proposal has been canceled. After this move of China, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that unless Pakistan takes action against the terrorists, no talks will be held.

According to sources, China is sticking to the fact that there is no link between terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and Masood Azhar. China argues that there was no evidence against Masood before. According to information received from sources, India has given tapes as evidence against Masood, who prove Masood and Jaish’s connections. In the dossier assigned to the UN Security Council, India has provided evidence against Masood.


The proposal to declare Masood Azhar as a global terrorist at the UN Security Council was canceled after the Chinese veto. The permanent member of the Security Council, China, put an end to the proposal brought by the United States, France and Britain. Here India has shared some important documents of the Pulwama terror attack with the United States, France, so that proof can be presented in the United Nations against Masood. India has got tremendous support from America.

There can be no movement again to declare China Masood a global terrorist; its apprehension has already been pronounced. It is being said that China has asked for evidence against Masood. This proposal has been brought for the fourth time in the last 10 years against Masood Azhar since Pathankot terrorist attack.
