5 dead in Sydney mall knife attack

The police shot the accused after he had stabbing several people. This incident happened at around 3:40 pm local time on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services were called to Westfield Bondi Junction following the incident.

A NSW Police spokesperson said that ‘there are reports that several people have been stabbed, and one person has been shot.’ The medical department team that reached the spot is treating the patients on the spot. Many posts on social media show a crowd of people outside the shopping centre. Officers are present at the scene with more than a dozen emergency vehicles.
