More than 8000 recover from Corona in last 24 hours in Uttarakhand
In Uttarakhand on Thursday, more than double of Corona’s new patients were cured and discharged from hospitals. Along with this, there has also been a decrease in active corona patients in the state. According to the Health Bulletin, 3658 new patients were found in the state on Thursday while 8006 patients were discharged after recovering. The total number of corona patients in the state has been 303940. While so far, 224535 patients have been cured. The number of active patients in the state has come down to around 68 thousand. Reports of about 35 thousand samples came from various labs of the state on Thursday, out of which more than 31 thousand samples have come negative. While close to 26 thousand samples have been sent for testing.
80 patients died
In the state, 80 patients died after a corona infection on Thursday. The state continues to show the number of deaths of the last days during the Corona infection. On Thursday, various hospitals in the state informed the State Control Room about the backlog of deaths. The government has warned all hospitals of action if found hiding the old deaths, but backlog reporting of deaths continue.

Today, the highest number of cases were reported from Udham Singh Nagar district. A total of 26414 samples were sent from various labs in the state for testing. Results of 14594 samples is awaited. 295 vaccination sessions were held on 20 May in which 15959 beneficiaries were vaccinated. With this over 20 lakh people have been partially vaccinated in Uttarakhand.
