After more than two and a half years, the new 242-member executive of State Congress President Pritam Singh has been declared. The new office bearers list has 22 Vice Presidents, 31 General Ministers, one Treasurer, 98 Secretaries and 90 Special Invitees. In the wake of Mission 2022, the emphasis has been laid on keeping all the areas in the formation of the state unit.

In the year 2017 in May, the Congress High Command handed over the reins of the state organization to Chakrata MLA Pritam Singh. Pritam Singh is the MLA from Chakrata seat for the fourth consecutive time since the formation of Uttarakhand state. Pritam Singh was still working from the old state executive. On December 17, after the dissolution of the old executive, the new executive was awaited. After the approval of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, National General Secretary Organization of All India Congress Committee KC Venugopal released the new state executive.

In the new office bearers list of the Uttarakhand Congress, all 11 MLAs as well as former MLAs and party candidates who have contested the assembly elections have gained importance. For the total of 53 posts of vice-president and general secretary, the current MLAs have been replaced by former MLAs and candidates with leaders active in party programs. The only MLA in the list of 98 state secretaries is Harish Dhami.

In all the posts, women as well as minorities have been represented. Many of the faces who were in the previous 395-member jumbo executive have also found a place in the new executive. Many of the leaders who were the general ministers in the previous executive have been elevated to the position of vice-presidents. State Congress President Pritam Singh said that the party will take everyone together and intensify the struggle against the anti-people policies of the state and central governments.
