45 selected for U-16 trials from Garhwal division
45 of the 150 players have been shortlisted for the next round in the trial of Garhwal division under Uttarakhand under-16 cricket team selection.
150 players from Garhwal division reached the ongoing trial at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Trial coordinator Dheeraj Khare said that 150 players arrived for the trial on the second day. Their selectors Arun Singh and Ashok Pal took the trial of bowling, batting and fielding at the net.
Based on the trial, 45 players have been shortlisted for the next round. During this time 80 players were deprived of the trial due to the arrival of rain. Their trials will be taken on next day.
Uttarakhand Senior Women’s Cricket Team Selection Process
The selection process of the senior women’s team of Uttarakhand is going to start on September 24. Interested players can get the registration form from the Doon Cricket Academy in Kuanwala, Dehradun on 24 September. A direct final trial will be held to select the women’s senior team.
Cricket Association of Uttarakhand has prepared the trial design for senior women’s team selection. CAU Secretary Mahim Verma said that the direct final trial for senior women’s team selection will be held at the Doon Cricket Academy in Kuanwala, Dehradun. In this, players will be able to get the registration form on 24 September. After this, there will be a trial process from 25 to 27 September. For this, they are required to bring necessary documents.
These documents are necessary for registration
– Computerized birth certificate made at least two years before registration is mandatory.
-Students who have dropped out of school or are not able to do 10th standard have to compulsory bring last three year marksheet signed by the pricipal and transfer certificate.
The camp of the under-19 team of Uttarakhand has shifted from the Tanush Cricket Academy to the Highlander Cricket Academy in Kashipur. Camp has been shifted to Kashipur after Tanush Cricket Academy got Vijay Hazare Trophy matches. Now the players will leave for Kashipur.
The camp was to start at the Tanush Cricket Academy from Thursday to select the under-19 team of Uttarakhand. For this, by Wednesday evening, the players selected for the camp had made their presence in the academy. Now due to the change of fixtures in Vijay Hazare Trophy, Tanush Academy got the responsibility of hosting the matches of Vijay Hazare Trophy.
