Youth murders girl in her house in Rishikesh

Rishikesh shook up on Wednesday morning when news of a brutal murder got around. While people were starting their daily routine, a young man entered the girl’s house and killed her with a knife. After stabbing the woman to death, the young man also slit his throat and cut his hand vein. He is admitted to AIIMS in critical condition. Late evening, the girl’s father has also filed a case of murder on the young man.

The girl Kalyani Yadav was around 27 years old. She was alone at home at the time of the incident. His father was in the RSS branch while his mother was on a morning walk. Police reached the spot on information and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem. Prima facie case is being told about love affair.

According to the information, Ajay Yadav, son of PR Yadav reached the house of the girl from Bankhandi street number-2 from his scooty and started assaulting her at around 6.30 am. The accused youth brought a paper cutting knife with him. Losing his temper, the young man took a vegetable cutting knife from the kitchen in the midst of a scuffle and inflicted several blows on the body including the woman’s neck.

Blood started gushing out from the girl’s body. She fell down on the floor. After this, the young man stabbed his hand and neck with a knife in order to end his life. People gathered around the scene after hearing the noise. On receiving the information, Police Officer Virendra Singh Chauhan arrived with other policemen and broke the lock of closed door and entered the room.

Seeing the state of the room, everyone was stunned. There was blood everywhere. Police took possession of the girl’s body and sent it to AIIMS for postmortem, while the accused has been sent to AIIMS for treatment. Police have taken both knives, Scooty and the girl’s mobile phone in their possession from the spot.
