88 page long FIR being prepared in Uttarakhand

The longest FIR in history is being written in Kashipur Kotwali of Uttarakhand. Four days have passed while writing the report, but it has not been completed yet. It is being told that it may take two to three days to complete it.

This matter is related to the Atal Ayushman Scheme. The police is registering an FIR against two big hospitals involved in this scam. This FIR has also become a headache for the police. Police are having a tough time in writing this FIR sent in Hindi and English.

Actually, the capacity of the FIR typing software used by the police has a limit of 10 thousand words, that is why the police is writing this FIR by hand.

Fake treatment bill claim came in front

The Health Department team had found huge irregularities in MP Hospital at Ramnagar Road and Devki Nandan Hospital at Tehsil Road under Atal Ayushman Yojana. In the investigation, the case of collecting claims of fake treatment bills of the patients against the rule was caught by the operators of both the hospitals.

Patient discharge still bill meter running

Even after the patients were discharged in MP Hospital, the patients were shown hospitalized for several days. Treatment of patients over capacity was also shown in ICU. The dialysis case was told to be done by the MBBS doctor and that too increasing the capacity of the hospital manifolds. In many cases, the claim was obtained even without treatment, whose patient was not even aware.

No software in the police station

On behalf of Uttarakhand Atal Ayushman’s executive assistant Dhanesh Chandra, the police were handed a complaint against both the hospital operators. Of these, one application is 64 pages, and the other application is about 24 pages. Online FIRs cannot be filed against these hospital operators due to the content details in the application.

In Kotwali, the capacity of the FIR registering software is not more than 10 thousand words, due to which the police have no choice but to lodge the FIR by hand. Regarding delay in filing FIR, a senior police officer has warned to complete the FIR by writing it in 2 days.

The trouble is not limited to writing in this FIR. When the police will investigate such a big FIR, it can take 15 days to cut at least one form, while the deadline of investigation has been kept for 3 months, which is next to impossible. The first challenge for the police is to register it and then explain it, both are not easy.
