Tehri Lake Fest 2020 edition to be held from 17 to 19 March
Adventure sports will be the main attraction of the Tehri Lake Festival to be held in March to promote tourism in Uttarakhand. The tourism department and the Tehri Special Area Tourism Development Authority have started preparations for the three-day festival.
The government’s focus is on developing Tehri Lake as an international tourist destination. For this purpose, the Tehri Lake Festival 2020 will be organized from March 17 to 19. In this festival, around 100 Swiss tents will be installed for the stay of guests coming from abroad.
Will be able to enjoy these adventure sports
To encourage adventure tourism in the state, the festival will showcase adventure sports. In which there will be adventure such as para gliding, hot air balloon, para motor, parasailing boat, scuba driving, kayaking, canoeing, high course, rock climbing, gumming rappelling, all terrain bike etc.
The Uttarakhand government is going to do four big festivals in Tehri, Ramnagar, Rishikesh, Auli before March. Secretary Tourism Dilip Javalkar says that preparations have been started for the four festivals to be held in the state. Adventure sports will be the main attraction at the Tehri Lake Festival. In which participants of adventure sports from country and abroad will participate.
