CM Dhami stamps his approval to increase stipend of MBBS interns in Uttarakhand

The honorarium of MBBS interns in state medical colleges has been increased. The Chief Minister has given approval to increase the rate of honorarium from Rs.7500/- per month to Rs.17,000. The Chief Minister said that there has been a commendable contribution of our doctors and paramedical staff in reducing the effect of corona pandemic and providing prompt treatment and necessary medical facilities to the victims.

Helicopter deployment for two months in Pithoragarh

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given approval for the deployment of helicopters for two months in Pithoragarh for immediate relief operations at the time of heavy rains and other natural calamities.

The Chief Minister also directed that when helicopters are not required for disaster relief operations, then helicopters should be used as alternative transport for the general public on payment basis at concessional rates. But this should be done only when helicopters are not needed in disaster relief operations.

The Chief Minister has approved the per capita rental rate of Rs.3,000 on the basis of payment of concessional rates for the use of helicopter in additional hours in addition to the hours used in the disaster.He has also given instructions to deploy this helicopter in Pithoragarh for two months under the prescribed conditions.
