Uttarakhand corona update: 20 new cases found on 12 October
On Tuesday, 20 new cases of corona have been found in Uttarakhand, while 15 patients have recovered. No patient has died of corona. However, there has been one death report in the backlog from Haridwar district. There are currently 158 active cases of corona in the state. There is no active case of corona in Udham Singh Nagar and Tehri, while Dehradun has the maximum number of 98 active cases. In eight districts, the active cases of corona are less than ten. So far 7397 patients have died in the state due to corona infection.
According to the information received from the Health Department, test reports of 15297 samples have been received from private and government labs. Of these, reports of 15277 have come negative. Maximum eight people have been found corona infected in Nainital. Apart from this, five people have been found infected in Dehradun, four in Rudraprayag, one each in Haridwar, Champawat and Uttarkashi. Whereas no new case of corona has been found in seven districts of Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Pauri, Pithoragarh, Tehri and Udham Singh Nagar.
So far 343695 cases of corona have been reported in the state, in which 330022 (96.02 percent) people have defeated corona. While 7397 patients have also died in the state from Corona.
Vaccination of 24918 persons
On Tuesday, 24 thousand 918 persons have been vaccinated at 827 centers in the state. In Haridwar, maximum 3695 people got the anti-coronavirus vaccine. Apart from this, 3544 people got the vaccine in Dehradun, 3294 in Udham Singh Nagar and 2327 in Nainital. So far 74,20,994 persons have received the first dose of the vaccine in the state. While 33,79,000 have been fully vaccinated. 44,47,752 persons in the age group of 18 to 44 have also received the first dose of vaccine and 13,75,762 have received both the doses.
