Uttarakhand corona update: 30 cases found on 6th March; 0 cases in 7 districts

Corona cases seems to be ending in Uttarakhand. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department on Sunday, not a single new case of corona has been registered in seven districts of the state. A total of 30 new cases were reported across the state. Of these, 20 people were found infected in Dehradun district.

According to the Health Bulletin, 3 people were found infected in Haridwar, 2 each in Pauri, Rudraprayag and Bageshwar, while 1 person was found infected in Champawat. At the same time, 32 people became healthy after winning the battle with Corona. The infection rate in the state was only 0.52 percent and the recovery rate has increased to 95.63 percent. Now the number of active cases has come down to 535.

Campaign for children left out of vaccination due to Corona

A campaign will be run in Roorkee on Monday for the children of zero to two years who have been left out of vaccination due to Corona. In this, necessary vaccinations of Penta, Measles etc. will be given to the children. This campaign is being run under the Intensified Mission Indradhanush.

Due to the first, second and now third wave of corona, there are many parents who have not got their children vaccinated against measles and penta etc. due to fear of corona. A campaign has been started along with Mission Indradhanush to provide necessary vaccines to these children who have missed out on vaccination. As part of the campaign, the department had conducted a survey to find out the children who were left out of vaccination.
