Corona update Uttarakhand: Over a 1000 recoveries in state till June 13

On Saturday, 61 more corona cases were found in the state. Together, the number of infected people has increased to 1785.

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Saturday, Tehri 26 Corona positives have been found. In Dehradun, 8 infected case have been found, three in Chamoli, five in Udham Singh Nagar, nine in Pauri, four in Haridwar, six in Uttarkashi and one in Rudraprayag.

More than a thousand infected patients returned home after treatment

With the increase of graph of corona infects in the state, the number of patients who beat the virus has increased. More than a thousand infected patients have returned home after treatment. The state has got some relief from recovery and improvement in doubling rate.

According to the Health Department report, till 8 pm on Saturday, the number of corona infected patients in the state has increased to 1785. At the same time, 1077 patients have been cured. The state’s recovery rate was 58.16 percent and doubling rate is 17 days as per the report issued at 2 P.M. Almora leads the districts with the highest rerecovery rate.

71 out of total 74 infected patients have been cured here. Only two patients are hospitalized. While one patient has died. Secretary Health Amit Negi says that the next 15-20 days are very important for us. The recovery rate and doubling rate of the state is improving. Active cases are almost going towards stability.

Couple reached the village directly from Mumbai, case filed

Police have filed a case in Ghansali (Tehri) for not following the quarantine rules by the couple who returned from Mumbai, Maharashtra. In the complaint it was told that the couple have returned to the village directly from Mumbai on 12 June.

They did not stay in Quarantine, while the Coronavirus continues to have a major impact in Mumbai. According to the government’s guidelines, they should have resided in Quarantine. The police have filed a case against the husband and wife on the basis of the deputy head’s complaint. Both are quarantined at home.

Doctor and Nodal Officer suspended in suicide case at Quarantine Center

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has ordered suspension of the nodal officer and doctor of the concerned center in the case of suicide of a youth at the Quarantine Center in Dehradun. Along with this, a detailed investigation of the entire episode has also been called for strict action against other culprits. In Dehradun, the CM has ordered an inquiry on the death of a pregnant woman in the absence of treatment.

The Chief Minister took information from the District Magistrates in the video conferencing held on Saturday about the prevention of Covid-19. On the initial report from the district on the suicide of the young man at the Quarantine Center in Dehradun, he immediately ordered the doctor on duty and the nodal officer of the Quarantine Center to be suspended.

The Chief Minister said that during the review of Covid-19, the suicide case came to the notice. First, there has been a lapse in this. It has also instructed that if some other people are guilty in this case, they should also be suspended. He said that special attention should be paid to the elderly, pregnant women, young children, people suffering from serious diseases. Contact tracing is very important.
