Tributes paid to soldier who lost life in line of duty

The mortal remains of soldier Surendra Singh Negi, who was lost his life after suffering a heart attack while on duty in Poonch sector, reached Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun today. Here Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat paid floral tribute to the mortal remains of the martyr. During this, the Chief Minister said that in this hour of grief, the State Government is with the family of the soldier. The family of the martyr will be provided all possible help.

On the mortal body of the 8th Garhwal Rifle Jawan Surendra Singh Negi, in the army complex located on the Chief Minister’s Cantt Road, paid a wreath and paid tribute to him. Nayak Surendra Singh Negi resident Chamoli (Uttarakhand) died due to a heart attack while on duty in Balnoi, the forward line of the LoC in Mankot sector on the Line of Control in Mendhar Sub Division.

According to the information, Naik Surendra Singh Negi, posted in Mankot sector of Mendhar on Monday morning, suddenly collapsed while on duty. The other soldiers present nearby took him to the camp, where doctors declared him dead. Doctors said that he died of a heart attack. The soldier’s body was sent to his house in Chamoli in Uttarakhand late evening after necessary action.
