Record 451 new Corona cases found in Uttarakhand on 22 July
5300 Total positive cases detected till date
Shattering all records Uttarakhand saw the biggest one day spike in Corona cases. Today, 451 new cases were found in the state. Nearly half of these were from Haridwar (204).
Apart from this, 98 cases were from Udham Singh Nagar district, 43 from Dehradun district, 73 Nainital from district, 11 from Tehri Garhwal, fivefrom Pithoragarh,4 each from Almora and Pauri Garhwal districts have been reported. At the same time, 52 people have fully recovered. The number of infected in the state has now reached 5300. Of these, 3349 patients have been healthy and discharged, while 57 have died. Currently 1856 cases are active. In addition, 38 patients have moved out of the state.
Corona infected woman dies in AIIMS
A Corona-positive woman admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh died on Wednesday morning. According to AIIMS administration, the woman was suffering from high blood pressure and thyroid problems. She was admitted to AIIMS on 19 July. The woman’s report came back positive after investigation. She was placed in a ventilator in critical condition. The 47-year-old woman hails from Shivaji Nagar Rishikesh. The administration has been informed in this regard.
In Uttarakhand, Corona’s havoc continues to increase. Rather the spread of the virus has increased manifold now. The seriousness of the situation can only be understood from the fact that in the last 12 days more than one and a half thousand cases of corona have been reported. On Tuesday, 210 new cases of corona had been reported in the state.
Corona infection is spreading rapidly in Lalkuan region of Nainital district, after 29 policemen and their families came positive on Wednesday morning, 31 more came out positive in the evening. There is a possibility of more serious consequences in the future due to 60 people getting infected in the small town panchayat Lalkua in a single day.
