Uttarakhand allows tourists at Valley of Flowers who test negative for Covid-19

Now tourists will be able to see the world heritage flower valley present in Chamoli district. For this, they have to show the Corona Negative Report tested upto 72 hours before as per the Covid-19 rules.

Nanda Ballabh Sharma, Deputy Forest Conservator of Nanda Devi National Park, said that the Valley of Flowers has been opened on June 1. But due to Corona, the movement of tourists was closed. Now the valley has been opened to tourists. Any tourist who comes here must have a negative test report in the last 72 hours.

There are about 300 flowers of various species blooming in the Valley of Flowers, situated amidst the snowy mountains, which are spreading their scent far and wide. Tourists reach the Valley of Flowers after walking 16 km from Govindghat.

The months of July, August and September are considered best for visiting the Valley of Flowers. Brahmakamal blooms here in September, which attract tourists. Vrijmohan Bharti, forest officer of the Valley of Flowers, said that about 500 species of flowers bloom in the valley. Currently, there are about 300 species of flowers in bloom here.
