PM Modi to attend CM Dhami’s oath ceremony

Pushkar Singh Dhami will take oath as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand for the second consecutive time on Wednesday. Dhami will be the 12th Chief Minister of the state. This program is being organized at Parade Ground, Dehradun at 2.30 pm.

The swearing-in ceremony will begin at 12.30 pm, while the oath-taking ceremony will begin at 2.30 pm. Prime Minister Modi is expected to reach the helipad built at Parade Ground at 2.10 pm.

These big leaders will attend along with the Prime Minister

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President JP Nadda, several Union ministers and Chief Ministers of 11 states including Yogi Adityanath are attending the swearing-in ceremony.

12-member council of ministers will also take oath

Apart from Dhami, some ministers will also be administered the oath. Some new faces may be made ministers of state. It is likely that the full 12-member Council of Ministers including the Chief Minister will take oath.

BJP got 47 out of 70 seats

The BJP got a thumping majority in the elections under the leadership of Pushkar Singh Dhami. In the elections for the fifth assembly, the BJP got 47 out of 70 seats. At the same time, Congress had to be satisfied with 19 seats, while BSP got two seats and independent candidates won two seats.
