Uttarakhand corona update: 439 cases found on 3rd April
The second wave of corona infection is increasing in Uttarakhand. It is a matter of concern that cases of death have also increased with infection. On Saturday, 439 more cases of corona infection were found in the state and four infected patients died. After which the number of infected patients has increased to 1,11,714. However, out of total infected people, 95825 (94.21 per cent) have become healthy so far. Corona currently has 2638 active cases. At the same time, 1725 corona-infected patients have also died in the state so far. Four patients have died in the state during the last 24 hours. 176 infected patients have also been cured from various districts today.
According to the Health Department, investigation reports of 9094 samples were received from different government and private labs, out of which 439 reported positive and 8655 negative. Dehradun again has the highest number of 228 infected people. In Haridwar too, 85 people have reported positive. Apart from this, 45 persons have been found in Nainital, 23 in Udham Singh Nagar, 17 in Uttarkashi, 16 in Bageshwar, 11 in Pauri, 6 in Tehri, 3 in Rudraprayag, 2 each in Pithoragarh and Chamoli and 1 in Almora.
Immunization campaigns are continuing to prevent corona infection. Like previous days, 45373 people were vaccinated at 435 centers in the state on Saturday. Chief Secretary Omprakash also got himself vaccinated at Arogyadham Hospital adjacent to Doon Medical College Hospital. He said that everyone should get vaccinated when their turn comes.
